Bio

Robin Adler is a contemporary artist, born in Norfolk, Virginia and living and working in New York’s Hudson Valley. Adler transcribes emotional experience into visual form. She creates art as a means of connection, to connect to her own spirit and to interpret experience in a way that can not only be understood, but felt, by others. Adler explores her inner landscape and the natural environment for inspiration. Expressing boundless enthusiasm for abstraction, she works intuitively, pushing past limitations toward freedom and possibility. She uses various media including oil, acrylic, wax, and print.

Adler is represented by BAU Gallery, in Beacon, NY, and had her first solo exhibition at BAU in June 2024. She was also awarded her first residency at Chautauqua Visual Arts in August 2024. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions in galleries throughout the East Coast, including the Woodstock Artists Association & Museum, Emerge Gallery & Art Space, Limner Gallery, and the Virginia Beach Art Center. Adler is a member of two art collectives, Spliced Connector and The Drawing Galaxy. Her work can be seen online at artsy.net and in the Artist Directory of Visionary Art Collective (visionaryartcollective.com). Adler’s work is held in private collections across the United States. Additionally, she has been featured in Issue #41 of Create! Magazine and in the digital magazine CanvasRebel.
